Greetings from Colorado!

“Ok, I admit I peeked at the photos from the latest Alumni get-together at O’Malleys in Anchorage. But after retiring from BP 25 years ago I needed a little help reading the name tags because, not surprisingly, no one looked familiar,” Inge says. “And for those of you who don’t remember me, I worked in the External Affairs Department and used to conduct the tours for BP on the North Slope for visitors from all over the world.

My partner and I have kept busy in retirement. We’ve relocated twice in the last five years, but hopefully are now settled in Colorado close to family. We’re avid hikers and you can find us on one of the great Colorado trails, weather permitting, on a daily basis”.

Traveling is still on the forefront of activities we enjoy. Last year we traveled to Jordan where we visited Petra and the Dead Sea. Yes, I also climbed to the “Magic Carpet” overlooking the Treasury!

At home, we volunteer at a newly opened sanctuary for senior dogs.  This helps fill the void of no longer having a pet ourselves.  The sanctuary will be starting tours of the facility to the public, and im hoping to become one of the guides.  It should be fun,  and no hard hats required!
