Greg Ernster of MHA Petroleum Consultants

ARCO Alumni have found that a willingness to travel enables them to live in the city of their choosing, many continuing to work in the oil and gas industry.  As an example, Greg Ernster moved from Australia to Colorado Springs in 2004.  Greg spent three years in Adelaide working for Santos.  His decision to move his family to Colorado Springs meant that he worked as far afield as Switzerland on various oil and gas projects as a reservoir engineering consultant.

Most recently, Greg joined MHA Petroleum Consultants in Denver as Managing Partner.  Greg is still teaching reservoir engineering classes for Petroskills which keeps him on the road.  Between the worldwide travels and the commute to the Denver office, Greg is spending less time at his home in Colorado Springs.  He and his wife Suzanne have two children aged 22 and 24. Their children are both working in the financial side of the oil business.  Greg’s daughter Lauren with her MBA from DU is working for a small oil company in Denver and his son Paul with a degree in economics from Rice is working for Pacific Drilling in Houston.
