The kiss cam tradition originated in California in the early 1980s, as a way to fill the gaps in play in professional baseball games.

Up until 2016, KissCam was not owned by any company or individual. ARCO alumnus Dana Veitch researched and discovered this after attending a Denver Nuggets game. “Recognizing the value of the KissCam brand, I hired a law firm and acquired the US and global IP digital rights to the KissCam brand,” said Dana.

“In addition to expanding the popularity of the KissCam brand outside the sports arena, KissCam LLC has also acquired the patent for the KissCam Contest. Our Contest is designed to enhance your event with the unique KissCam flair, generating engagement for your party or corporate event. We are currently licensing the KissCam brand rights and our KissCam Contest worldwide. No brand has reached these heights on its own reputation, and reputation is key to a successful brand.”

Located in Denver, Colorado, KissCam LLC is a self-funded startup company owned and operated by Dana and his son, Alex (a Landman as well).
