Update from Mark Johnson:
Hello Energy Alumni! It’s hard to believe that Lesa and I have been retired for 9 years in August (2025). After 29 years in the beautiful state of Alaska working for Arco and BP we choose to retire in Las Vegas! Love this place for the warm weather, year around golfing, proximity to excellent entertainment (concerts and sports), and occasionally the beaches of southern California. We live on a scenic golf course on the west side of the Las Vegas valley, in Summerlin.

Shortly after moving into our house in 2017 we happened to see a golf cart driving by with none other than Mike Reynolds in it! Mike and I worked together in the Arco Wells group (the blue hats) back in the day and quickly reunited our friendship. Mike and Renee are also retired in Summerlin. I golf every week with Mike and occasionally with Todd Rainey (another LV retiree). Lesa and I travel with the Reynolds regularly, and our next trip is Carmel by the Sea trip in September 2025. I volunteer as a walking scorer for the PGA and LPGA and will be working the Pure Championship for that trip. I look forward to walking all 18 holes at both Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill! I used to play these courses back in the 70s with my dad and friends.
Traveling with the Reynolds in Europe
Our son Paul (born in Anchorage) is married to Amanda and we have two grandchildren all living in South Anchorage! We hope that our Alaska friends will join us when a warm weather vacation is needed!
